Ambreen Mohamed, MD
I’m incredibly resilient and I’ve learned over the years to own that. I’ve been faced with challenges since I was a child. Divorced parents, financial difficulties, overseas medical school, no stability because I was always moving, not matching into a residency of my choice, Dads health setbacks, not matching into fellowship on the first try, failed relationships, and so on and so forth.
But I bounce back. I’ve become strong, independent, wise, and self sufficient. I’ve become grateful for what I do have rather then complain about what I don’t have. One thing my mom has taught me from a young age is problems will never disappear but it’s the way you see them that can completely change your life.
