Before I was a medical student, I’ve always been passionate about sisterhood and congregating to impact change on an interpersonal and systemic level. To grow with other black women, while simultaneously changing the experience for future generations brings me immeasurable joy. Using social media to inspire and expand this network is very gratifying. To tell black youth that they can achieve something they’ve been told they can’t. Social media platforms have encouraged me to be me more introspective, inquisitive, and creative.
