Without my white coat you can probably find me working on my fitness in one way or another. I love to do vinyasa yoga, I just started this year but have been able to get upside down with a few different inversions and have finally mastered my splits! I love to stay healthy, whether it’s working out or eating right. This past January, I changed my diet to completely plant based and am in the process of cutting out processed foods. My health is very important to me so I can stay doing what I love (cosmetic dentistry) longer!
I also like to spend time at the beach–which is a quick 15 minute car ride from where I live. Sometimes I will take my bike along with me and bike along the A1A, enjoying the lovely winter weather and beautiful coastline that Florida has to offer.
Lately, I have been feeling compelled to give back to the community, especially since my most recent volunteer experience with Mission of Mercy was cancelled this year due to COVID. I have recently signed up to be a volunteer with Meals on Wheels in Broward county, to help deliver fresh meals to homebound seniors. Especially with the current pandemic, their program is in need of extra help to keep these individuals from going without during these tougher times.
I admit that my work doest take over a lot of my life, so even when I am without my white coat, you can probably find me doing continuing education or creating interesting content for my Instagram. When you love what you do, it’s not really work now is it? 🙂
”#withoutthewhitecoat I am doing my best to stay healthy, grateful, and give back to those in need!
