Wearing the white coat is a true honor and privilege that symbolizes a commitment to service and helping others in any way that I can.

I am a mentor and an advocate for increasing access to medical/healthcare education. Throughout my life, I was so fortunate to have amazing mentors and role models to guide me throughout my medical journey. These mentors helped me tremendously in my medical education and I would not be where I am today without all of them. This is why I have created a YouTube Channel (AustinNguyenMed) dedicated to helping others thrive in the medical field through sharing my personal experiences, tips, advice, and strategies. It is my hope that through this platform, I can be a mentor to any individual interested in a healthcare profession.

My whole life I have always enjoyed playing sports and being outside. I love playing basketball, golf, tennis, and going on scenic runs. In addition, I enjoy traveling across the world and seeing all of God’s beautiful creations. One of my goals is to travel to all 7 continents by 30 years old! I have already backpacked across Europe, went hang gliding in Brazil, visited Asia, and traveled across North America.

Something I will always cherish is time with my family and friends. Whether it be traveling together or spending time with one another during the holidays, it is always such a memorable and meaningful experience for me.
