I took this picture almost 1 year ago. It’s crazy to think how much has changed. If I’ve learned anything over the past year, it’s that there is so much power in storytelling: sharing my own stories/experiences and taking the time to hear the stories of my patients. I’m continually inspired by those I meet on this journey. I can’t wait to continue learning and growing from my patients as I enter this next stage in my training.

#withoutthewhitecoat I am the daughter of Nigerian immigrants. I am a sister and a friend. I am also a storyteller, a writer, and an avid reader. Importantly, I am someone who believes in the power of human connection through our stories.
