“I was bullied as a kid and I always turned to fitness to help me feel more confident in myself and to get through hard times. As an incoming master’s student in applied psychology at Rutgers, I will be studying how exercise and other behavioral interventions can be used to enhance physiological, neurocognitive, and psychological resilience. My ultimate goal is to better understand how physical activity and other mind/body interventions can be used to improve emotional reactivity and cognitive function among at-risk patients populations, especially those who are depressed, anxious, and have poor mental health.
#withoutthewhitecoat I am a personal trainer, oldest brother of 3 younger siblings, and sometimes I rap in my free time.”
