“Sports have always been a big part of my life – especially hockey. I played competitively growing up and played for my university while completing my undergraduate degree. I now enjoy playing hockey more recreationally as an outlet while in medical school. It is a great way to socialize, exercise and relieve some stress. I hope to continue playing through orthopaedic surgery residency! Being an athlete continues to be a big part of my identity.
