I was painting and drawing before I could do a lot of things – before I could walk, talk, or even begin to know how to answer the question, “what do you want to be when you grow up?” In a world with a lot of expectations from us, art has allowed me to be free and experiment in a process that is so beautifully frustrating at times. It has given me the opportunity to push the boundaries of reality in a way that forces me to truly LOOK at the world around me and leaves me awe-inspired every time.
