“Without the white coat I am a photographer. Whether it’s a phone or an actual camera the act of capturing a moment, any moment, is cathartic. We walk through the world glossing over it’s infinite details but being able to focus on some of those details allows me to step back and enjoy the moment. Capturing the texture of the baby blanket with the mother’s hand in frame. My goal of creating a picture worth the thousand words gives me the focus to enjoy the small things in life when the opportunity presents itself. Photography has also allowed me to meet people of various walks of life and their unique stories attached to each photo I take. Medicine is my career and passion, photography allows me to express emotions behind the moment.
